A passion of mine are shells and anything from under the sea, so these earrings, which consist of an LMS ear wire with a beautiful hand cut and polished long drop of Spiny Oyster showing patterns in hues of glowing orange, are a delight!
The spiny oyster shell comes primarily from the Sea of Cortez off the eastern coast of Baja California & Mexico. It can range in colour from light yellow, vivid coral orange, dark red and purple are the rarest to find. Found in shallow and deep waters, they are found by hand
