Pink vintage trade Czech glass beads (1930's) (2mm) are interspersed with gorgeous old Carnelian beads (4 - 6mm) from the African trade, mostly made in Idar Oberstein, Germany in the 1880's

Trade beads in decorative glass and gemstone were used between the 16th and 20th Century as token money to exchange for local african goods such as oil, gold etc

This is a very unusual 30cm, Pink & Orange necklace
