Black Lip Mother of Pearl shell Pear drops measuring 20 x 10 x 7mm - make a very stunning modern earring but with a feeling of an ancient or vintage piece

The neat silver Gingko Leaf top gives a sleek look and is softly textured on it's undulating form 

 I designed this piece for RBG Kew in 1999 as part of a larger range that sold at Kew Garden for many years.

Originally the design on these earrings was engraved by master engraver George Lukes. George was regarded as one of the finest engravers of his generation and I had the honour of meeting and working with him on several of my designs in the 80's and 90's.
