Morganite is a rare, delicate peachy/pink gemstone from the Beryl family, used in jewellery due to its romantic hue, high clarity, and durability,and its symbolic meaning of love and compassion.

Morganite is commonly heat-treated to remove yellow or orange undertones and enhance its pink colour

Morganite was identified and named by George Kunz, Tiffany & Co.'s chief gemologist. While initial specimens were found in California, the official discovery that led to its naming occurred in Madagascar in 1910. Kunz named the gemstone to honour his friend and banker, financier J.P. Morgan
